Pippa

Pippa is our beautiful spotted mare. She is very striking and gets lots of compliments due to her unusual looks. Pippa is a dominant mare and runs the herd with her firm but fair approach. She doesn’t take any nonsense from the other ponies and is the tallest of our miniature ponies.

Pippa is very people oriented and enjoys affection and attention. She’s also very food motivated, always on the lookout for a treat!

Trinity

Trinity is a very kind and patient mare who looks after the most vulnerable with real sensitivity. She is one of the elite team who go off-site to visit settings such as care homes, and is the perfect size to manoeuvre through corridors and ride in lifts! She is calm and quiet and has a very maternal nature with people and also with her pony pals.

Trinity is very dependable when working and can always be trusted to behave impeccably. What a good girl!

Mouse

Mouse is our quiet little guy. He is a cautious fellow but extremely calm and gentle. He’s great with the old and young alike, and is very dependable as one of our Therapy Ponies. Mouse takes time to trust any new members of staff but once he feels okay then he will do anything you ask.

He has the most striking Skewbald coat and enjoys being groomed, though a little sensitive about his ears. Mouse likes a gentle touch and takes confidence from his fellow pony friends.

Teddy

Teddy is a shy and gentle pony. He’s perfect for nervous children as he is so calm and quiet. He can be reserved at times and tends to get bossed around by the rest of the herd; however, he loves people and loves to chase the staff around and play with his activity ball.

Teddy has a beautiful Skewbald coat and a long thick white mane. He really is very cuddly!

Tinkerbella

Tinkerbella (or TInks for short) is our little Skewbald mare. She is generally quiet but can have her feisty moments when she puts her foot down!  She is one of the more submissive members of the herd and prefers to follow the other ponies’ lead.

Tinks is a popular pony with our visitors, and children particularly love her fluffy mane and small size.

Prince

Prince is our big brown teddy bear! He can be quite opinionated at times and likes to make his needs known. He is very dominant within the herd and ensures that the other geldings do as they are told.

Prince has a very sensitive side too though, and sometimes needs to seek people out for reassurance and affection. He loves to be groomed and will happily stand there while visitors plait his hair and decorate him!

Winston

Winston is our lovely laid back golden boy who is a firm team favourite. He is very handsome palomino, which means he has a blond mane and golden body.

Winston joined us in the summer of 2024 and is part of our elite team of mini ponies who go indoors to make dreams come true.

Belle

Belle is a very tiny and sweet palomino mare who works within our specialist therapeutic team going indoors to make dreams come true.  She is a real life blond bombshell of a Barbie pony – she really is perfection.

Belle is our smallest pony with a curious and endearing nature and is a firm favourite with visitors.

Drifter

Drifter, our ridden skewbald gelding is one of our two very sweet Dartmoor Hill ponies( the other being Pippa).

Drifter is a very quiet pony who at times can be a little nervous but has a very sweet cheeky personality when he gets to know you.

He can be a little tricky to catch at times but makes up for it in so many other ways and is a superstar to lunge and long rein.

Indie

Indie is our lovely skewbald cob cross mare who is one of our ridden ponies on the Therapy Centre. She is very bold and can be quite vocal at times!

Indie is part of our education programme and handled by our students each day and loves her time out in the turn out area where she is boss.

Daphne

Daphne is a beautiful Spanish mare who in her previous job was a dressage horse. She is now staying with us for her retirement to help with our education programmes.

She is a kind loving girl who loves being around people and is a fan of being groomed and receiving all the attention from our students. Daphne is currently our largest horse at the Therapy Centre.
