Animal Assisted Therapy
Animal Assisted Therapy has been shown to help improve physical, social, emotional and cognitive functions. Horses are extremely receptive and responsive to a person’s body language, emotion and energy, which makes for a beautiful therapeutic bond. There are numerous benefits for people of all ages such as lower blood pressure, increased beta-endorphins levels, reduced stress and decreased feelings of anger, hostility, tension, depression and anxiety.
Our team of specially trained, friendly staff hold comprehensive first-aid training, enhanced DBS checks and a qualification in Animal Assisted Therapy.
Corporate Sponsorship
Our team of miniature ponies provide a unique equine therapy service and regularly go off-site to visit the most vulnerable in our communities.
A typical visit is a 1-hour interaction with 1 or 2 of our beautiful miniature ponies. People will be able to stroke, pamper and where possible lead the ponies. We have low level fencing that can be used to set up a penned area where numerous people can access the ponies at one time.
A visit from the ponies can encourage people to socialise, sharing their happy experience with each other and often leaving a smile on everyone’s faces. Following our visit, we supply pony themed colouring sheets and craft packs where people can get creative and reflect on the experience.
You can book a Pony Visit to a range of settings within a 45 mile radius of Keysoe Cuddle Therapy Ponies CIC (MK44 2JP), such as:

If you are not sure of a setting you would like to nominate, we have a variety of places that we can suggest for the visit.
And don’t worry – our ponies wear non-slip shoes that allow them to walk on all types of flooring and can even ride in a lift – yes they are that small! The are the perfect size for indoor visits and can even reach a person’s bedside.
