Opportunities
Right at the centre of Keysoe Cuddle Ponies is our herd of Miniature Shetland Ponies, and the calm, meaningful moments they help create – both here at Keysoe and out in hospitals and community settings.
Supporting this work takes time, care and the right environment, and our volunteers play an important role in making that possible.
Volunteering with us is a hands-on, immersive experience. It’s about spending time with the ponies, supporting their daily care and wellbeing, and being a part of a space that feels grounded, purposeful, and quietly impactful.
Individual Volunteering
For those looking to get involved on a regular basis, our individual volunteering roles focus on behind the scenes support and pony care. This includes a range of activities like grooming, enrichment, hand walking and helping maintain the yard environment.
It’s a chance to learn, build confidence around horses and be a part of something meaningful, while spending time outdoors in a calm and supportive setting.

Team Volunteering
We also offer team volunteering experiences through the OnHand platform, designed for organisations looking to step away from the usual working environment and take part in something more grounded and hands-on.
These sessions centre around the care and wellbeing of the ponies and offer a different kind of team experience – practical, collaborative, and quietly rewarding.
